"The Javelin" in its beginning years

The car was totally disassembled and a back clip was installed with a tube chassis from the firewall back. We shortened a 9inch Ford rear end to fit with a 33inch Mickey Thompson drag slicks tucked under. Rebuilt a 2 speed power glide transmission with a 35 hundred stall torque converter.

Engine Work

Started with a 454 Chevy big block. It was bored .100 over and stroked to a total cubic inch size of a 505. It has 850 horsepower and pushing 3300 pounds through a quarter mile at 9.95 going 140 mph. It has a 9inch Ford rear end and a B & M shifter on a two speed power glide transmission.
